As the UK experienced summer temperatures in early September Cooper Solutions experienced one of its hottest months ever.
The firm supplied insurance cover for test drives of vehicles valued at a total of £192 million through its FullCover product in the first three weeks of the month.
It was a record month for Cooper Solutions with 23,661 insured loans of 8,909 vehicles across the UK. There were also 71 insured loans for a total of 42 cars costing £100,000 or more including Ferraris, a Rolls Royce Ghost, MB SLS Roadsters, Audi R8s, a McLaren MP4-12C, a Porsche 911, a Maserati Gallardo and several Aston Martins.
The most expensive car insured was a Bentley Mulsanne - valued at almost a quarter of a million pounds.
The FullCover fleet management system is one of the company’s suite of systems and helps efficiently handle demonstration bookings and manage demonstration vehicle fleets.
As part of that process FullCover also includes a day rate insurance which can potentially lower the amount a dealership pays for its motor trade policy.
Cooper Solutions now supplies its products to more than 1,000 dealerships across England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Our system dramatically reduces the time this process takes and allows dealerships to manage this activity in as efficient a manner as possible. The associated insurance product also helps to reduce the overall cost of test drive insurance for the firm.”
