Cooper Solutions’ managing director Barry Cooper took time out of his busy schedule with account manager Kate Freshwater to help pupils gain an insight into running a national business.
They visited Myton School, in Warwick, to help pupils with their GCSE Business Studies course and talk about the ins and outs of running a successful business.
Eva Foster, enterprise co-ordinator at Myton School, said: “It was great to have Barry in to talk to the students about running a local business on a national scale.
“This will be invaluable for the students as they strive towards achieving the higher grades at GCSE in their controlled assessment.”
Barry is due to return to the school in May to catch up with the pupils’ progress. He has also agreed to arrange for the class to visit Rybrook Warwick BMW to see Cooper Solutions systems being used in a car dealership environment.
He said: “We were delighted to have been invited to the school and I hope the pupils found what we had to say useful.
“They were genuinely interested in the workings of the business and what we do at Cooper Solutions.
“I am looking forward to visiting the school again in May to see how they are all getting along with their projects.”
